Workshops & Presentations
Who benefits
Boards, strategy development committees, stakeholder groups, and project teams.
What workshops and presentations offer
My workshops and presentations set a tone and framework to progress organisational objectives and initiatives. Differences of opinion between stakeholders are often managed by a presentation or workshop. For example, my presentations on ‘Optimism Bias’, ‘Why Well Managed Projects Fail’, and ‘Influence Management’, have resulted in a reorientation and resolution of evolving difficulties for stakeholders.
How it works
I provide presentations followed by facilitation workshops for boards, strategy development committees, stakeholder groups, and project teams, tailored to specific circumstances with focus on development of shared understanding
Expertise
Organisational dynamics produce ‘systems’ of influence involving staff, consultants, internal and external stakeholders. Workshops and sometimes presentations to help manage these influences. My approach combines many organisational and academic presentations, conference and workshop facilitation, and a comprehensive understanding of influence and resistance. The approach has gained from serving on the coaching panel of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, membership on the faculty of graduate MBA programs, extensive consulting engagements, and working clinically in psychotherapy.
